Abstract
The purpose of this work is to make an approximation to the life of the orphaned minors of Toro (Zamora) in the first quarter of the XVIIth century. In this way, an attempt is made to cover a historiographical gap both at a geographical and chronological level on a subject that has hardly been addressed. To achieve this purpose, the use of curatorship accounts has been used, preserved in the notarial protocols of the area, as well as the litigation initiated in the Royal Chancellery of Valladolid.
