Abstract
D’une approche qualitative se servant des différentes narrations structurées et conscientes des \ninterviewés, cette étude porte sur la compréhension de l’attachement continuel au milieu \nd’origine dans les expériences de la mobilité sociale des immigrants professionnels africains \nfrancophones installés à Sudbury. \nLes résultats révèlent que la mobilité sociale des immigrants professionnels africains \nfrancophones demeure une trajectoire socioprofessionnelle d’identification à ce qui fait leur \npoint définitionnel et explicatif. Quels que soient les sacrifices et les efforts consentis, leur \naccomplissement socioprofessionnel ne se vit pas de façon individualiste et méritocratique, \nmais solidaire au milieu d’origine. Cette étude inscrit la possible de réaliser l’ascension \nsocioprofessionnelle sans devenir un centrifuge, un névrosé et un déséquilibré socioculturel. \nElle justifie également que les expériences de la mobilité socioprofessionnelle internationale \nmarquées par la discontinuité perpétuelle des liens forts et des profonds déracinements du \nmilieu d’origine sont uniques et singulières à un groupe humain donné.
