Abstract
You should not go to work, \nschool or public areas. If you \nhave a garden, it is fine to use \nit. \n• Mpox spreads via close contact, \nincluding sexual contact. To \nprotect other members of your \nhousehold you should keep at \nleast 3 steps (1 metre) away \nfrom them even while you are \nin the garden. \n• You should not mix or socialise \nwith anyone outside your \nhome. Do not invite or allow \nsocial visitors (such as friends \nand family) to visit you at \nhome. \n• You should postpone any nonessential \nmedical or dental \ntreatment. \n• You should not go shopping \n(relatives/friends can do \nshopping for you). \nThey should leave items \noutside your home and should \nnot come inside. \n• You should only leave your \nhome for essential purposes \nlike emergencies, urgent \nmedical appointments, or for \nurgent health and wellbeing \nissues. \n• While self-isolating, you should \nkeep in touch with family and \nfriends by phone or social \nmedia.
