Abstract
El sèrum de formatge (CW), caracteritzat per un alt contingut en matèria orgànica i nutrients com N i P, representa una matèria primera prometedora per a la recuperació i reciclatge de nutrients. Per tant, com principal objectiu de aquesta tesi doctoral s'explora un enfocament tecnològic innovador per a la recuperació de nutrients a partir de CW mitjançant el desenvolupament, l'optimització i l'avaluació del rendiment de diferents combinacions tecnològiques, inclosa la digestió anaeròbica (AD), els processos de membrana i la concentració per congelació (FC). L'avaluació tècnica i ambiental de la combinació tecnològica de la AD i les tecnologies de concentració (processos de membrana i FC) va demostrar que l'acoblament de Bioreactor de membrana anaeròbic (AnMBR) amb el FC per al tractament del sèrum de formatge permet tenir un esquema de valorització complet considerant 3 vectors rellevants: Energia – producció de biogàs; Aigua – efluent net recuperat i Nutrients – obtenció d'un concentrat ric en nutrients.
