Abstract
Este número es el primero de una serie que recogerá, cada año, una muestra de las principales investigaciones que se están desarrollando en las universidades latinoamericanas pertenecientes a la Red de Cuadernos de Investigación Urbanística hermanadas con el departamento de Urbanística y Ordenación del Territorio de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. La presentación de las investigaciones está por orden alfabético del país de la universidad: Universidad de Córdoba(Argentina), Universidad del General Sarmiento(Argentina), Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (Argentina), Universidad Estadual Paulista (Brasil), Universidad de Chile(Chile), Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Colombia), Universidad Pontificia Javeriana (Colombia), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (España), Universidad Iberoamericana de Pueblo(México), Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México),Universidad Veracruzana(México) y Universidad S. Agustín Arequipa (Perú).Como es propio de un número de ésta naturaleza, el contenido es muy diverso. Sin embargo, es necesario resaltar que existe un hilo conductor común a todos los trabajos presentados: "la génesis y la dinámica actual de las ciudades en su territorio", cuestión de gran trascendencia actual ante los importantes procesos de metropolinización, globalización, y fragmentación (social y espacial) de las regiones urbanas. En todas las investigaciones aparecen estrategias y alternativas que pasan por los principios de la sostenibilidad (U. Córdoba, U. Chile, U. Nacional de Colombia, U. San Agustín de Arequipa, y U. Politécnica de Madrid) la gobernabilidad (U. General Sarmiento), la preservación del patrimonio cultural y natural (U. Nacional de Tucumán), la desconcentración funcional (U. Pontificia Javeriana) y la correcta articulación público-privado (U. General Sarmiento, U. Nacional de Colombia, U. Veracruzana y U. Politécnica de Madrid).Resulta por tanto, una muestra interesante ya que presenta la perspectiva de lo sustentable íntimamente ligada a la planificación urbanística y a la ordenación del territorio, desde diferentes líneas de investigación complementarias y transdisciplinares.Abstract:This number is the first one of a series that will gather, every year, a sample of principal investigations that are developing in the Latin-American universities belonging to Red de Cuadernos de Investigación Urbanística related with the Department of Urban Development and Land Management of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Nevertheless, it is necessary to highlight that exists one conductive common thread to all presented works: "the genesis and the current dynamics of the cities in their territory ", question of great current transcendency in the important processes of metropolitanization, globalization, and fragmentation (social and spatial) of the urban regions. In all the investigations appear strategies and alternatives that deal with outline of sustainability (U. Córdoba, U. Chile, U. Nacional de Colombia, U. San Agustín de Arequipa, y U. Politécnica de Madrid), gobernance (U.General Sarmiento), the preservation of the cultural and natural heritage (U. Nacional de Tucumán), the functional dispersal (U. Pontificia Javeriana) and the correct joint public - private policies (U. General Sarmiento, U. Nacional de Colombia, U. Veracruzana y U. Politécnica de Madrid).Therefore, it results an interesting sample because it presents the perspective of the sustainable intimately bound to the urban development planning and land management, from different complementary and interdisciplined lines of investigation.
