Comentario de un grupo de grafitos hallados en la cueva artificial Las Gobas 6 en el conjunto rupestre de (Laño, Condado de Treviño, Burgos, ca. s. VII), que confirma tanto la continuidad en la región de una serie de fórmulas epigráficas y litúrgicas como la temprana presencia de expresiones que, con posterioridad, serán habituales en colofones de manuscritos. Este pequeño corpus permite además reivindicar la importancia de los grafitos de Las Gobas como documentos de excepción para determinar el alcance de la cultura escrita y su difusión en núcleos rurales, siempre a través de peregrinos y hombres religiosos conocedores de las prácticas de los primeros scriptoria medievales.
