Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Articaine was first introduced under the name carticaine in Germany in 1976. Since then it has been widely used in Europe, United States and Canada. It has properties similar to lidocaine, but also has some specific features, that make it superior to the other local anesthetics. Unique amide structure, rapid diffusion through the neuronal membranes and the enhanced tissue penetration makes it a very attractive solution for general dentists as daily use local anesthetic. It has been proven that it can be safely used with great effectiveness for both: pain management and preventive procedures. The purpose of this article is to present brief characteristic of the pharmacology of articaine as a local anaesthetic agent used in the dentistry. This review also analyses some available reports and articles which describe structure, physiochemical properties, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic, efficacy, possible side effects and finally evaluate a superior effectiveness of articaine in comparison to other local anesthetics.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
