fetched live from OpenAlex

Maladministration prevention efforts undertaken by the Yogyakarta Special Region Ombudsman Institute as a form of action to prevent maladministration in the administration of government and irregularities in private business governance. The Yogyakarta Special Region Ombudsman Institution called LO DIY is a regional institution that has the authority to be independent to administer public government by regional governments, private business institutions and individuals. Prevention of maladministration by LO DIY in 2019 has an impact on the number of increasing graphs of people who consult and complain to LO DIY from the first quarter to the quarter percent. This shows that the socialization was carried out by LO DIY to the citizens who had a significant number of complaints. Then from the significance of the agreed public service maladminstration can improve governance based on good governance, which in the concept of good governance requires a relationship between the community, government and the private sector.
\nThe type of research used is field research, namely research conducted by obtaining data directly at the Ombudsman Institute of DIY using a juridical-empirical approach and data obtained by means of results of field research conducted by observation and interviews with leaders of the Yogyakarta Special Region Ombudsman.

The form of business considering that carried out LO DIY with an outline establishes cooperation with individuals, governments, government and private agencies, and socialization through mass media, and social media. The data collection activity increased the number of public complaint reports to LO DIY in 2019, in the first quarter covering 69 complaint reports, while the second quarter consisted of 45 complaint reports, and in the quarterly financial statements 47 complaint reports, totaling 209 complaint reports for the third quarter in 2019. The significance of the maladministration debate carried out by the LO DIY has approved governance based on good governance, because the socialization carried out by the LO DIY can increase public participation in improving the running of the government, and the LO DIY also helps local government implementers and business practices .
