Bakalářská práce Profil zpravodajských rubrik v Pardubickém deníku si klade za cíl zmapovat situaci regionálních médií na počátku 90. let minulého století a legislativní rámec periodického tisku. Dále se zaměří na typologické hodnocení žánrů české žurnalistiky, které jsou uplatňované v Pardubickém deníku. Budou porovnány dvě časové etapy historie deníku z hlediska zpravodajských rubrik. Práce bude na základě výzkumných metod analyzovat a porovnávat dvě časová období v rubrikách na zpravodajských stranách v Pardubickém deníku z hlediska kvalitativního a kvantitativního. 
\nSoučástí práce je vymezení žurnalistických pojmů a charakteristika cílového média od počátku vycházení Pardubických novin v roce 1992 do jeho současné podoby roku 2012.
