Abstract
Dando prosseguimento ao estudo da malacofauna marinha do Brasil, verificamos a existência, nas coleções do Laboratório de Ciências do Mar da Universidade Federal do Ceará (Col. Mal. LABOMAR) e Museu Nacional (Col. Mol. M. N.), de conchas procedentes respectivamente do Estado do Ceará e Ilha da Trindade, pertencentes, possivelmente, a uma nova espécie do género Caducifer Dali, 1904, que também não nos consta ter sido registrado anteriormente para o Brasil, estando representado por poucas espécies Recentes na região Indo-Pacífica e na costa ocidental das Américas.
