Abstract
El estudio del Arte Rupestre desde su descubrimiento, ha dado lugar a numerosos estudios basados en muy diversos puntos de vista, debido a la amplitud del tema, limitados en un primer momento a su significación, originando las teorías del «arte por el arte» y de la «magia-simpática». En cuanto a su cronología son de vital interés los tres ciclos establecidos por Breuil, basado en aspectos artísticos, tras realizar un exhaustivo trabajo de campo.
