Abstract
El Proyecto de Turismo de aventura en la Quebrada Piedra Blanca localizada en el cantón Bucay, es contribuir al fortalecimiento de la actividad turística a través de la readecuación de un sendero para la práctica de deportes de aventura como el canyoning y escalada, la observación de flora y fauna del sector y disfrute de sus hermosas cascadas; que al mismo tiempo brinde seguridad al visitante y protección al medio mediante. El producto Cascadas Piedra Blanca persigue posicionar al área como un destino turístico, utilizando los atractivos que esta posee y ofreciendo servicios y facilidades turísticas que permitirán mejorar en gran medida la experiencia del turista que gusta de estar en contacto con la naturaleza. En base a este estudio se ha determinado la factibilidad económica de este proyecto, el cual beneficiará no sólo al cantón sino a la comunidad receptora que participará en el mismo.
