Abstract
El objetivo del estudio que aquí se presenta fue realizar un análisis preliminar de cómo el profesorado de música estaba viviendo la implantación de la Reforma educativa en Québec y de cómo ésta había incidido en su práctica docente. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas con siete profesoras seleccionadas mediante un muestreo intencional. En general, surgió como temática principal la percepción del cambio fundamental de los roles del alumno y del profesor. Se señalaron también los cambios surgidos en el modelo pedagógico, basado en el desarrollo de competencias tanto disciplinares como transversales Las principales dificultades encontradas se refirieron sobre todo a aspectos estructurales y organizativos como la evaluación, las pocas horas semanales atribuidas a la enseñanza de la música, y la carga lectiva semanal del profesorado
