Abstract
Darba nosaukums ir „Rīgas bīskapa Alberta tēls vēsturiski zinātniskā un publicistiskā interpretācijā 20.-21. gs.” Bīskapa Alberta darbībai Latvijas vēstures kontekstā ir pievērsta liela uzmanība, taču maz uzmanības pievērsts Alberta tēla veidošanās procesam latviešu akadēmiskajā literatūrā un presē. Darba mērķis ir pēc iespējas detalizētāk raksturot radīto Alberta tēlu latviešu akadēmiskajā literatūrā un presē laika posmā no 1900. līdz 2007. gadam. Darba uzdevumi ir iepazīties ar akadēmisko literatūru, akadēmiski orientētu literatūru un presi, laika posmā no 1900. līdz 2007. gadam, kurā publicēti raksti par bīskapa Alberta darbību un personību, un noskaidrot tajā radīto šīs vēsturiskās personas tēla īpatnības. Gan akadēmiskā literatūra, gan prese tiek izvēlēta vadoties pēc tā, vai attiecīgajā darbā dots Alberta tēla raksturojums. Viscaur 20. gs. Alberta tēls ir ieguvis dažādu raksturojumu, taču 20. gs. laikā vienojošais par bīskapa Alberta tēlu ir tas, ka viņš, būdams bīskaps, tomēr vairāk bijis laicīgās, nevis garīgās varas pārstāvis.
