Abstract
Mẫu trầm tích và mẫu nước được thu tại rạch, sông, cửa sông và bãi bồi; mẫu đất và mẫu nước được thu tại rừng ngập mặn vào mùa mưa và mùa nắng. Kết quả cho thấy As trong trầm tích tăng dần từ sông rạch trong nội ô đến cửa sông, đạt giá trị cao nhất tại cửa Gành Hào. Nồng độ của As trong nước tại vùng khảo sát cao vượt tiêu chuẩn nước cho nuôi thủy sản. Cd hiện diện cao trong sông rạch thuộc nội ô thành phố Cà Mau nhưng hàm lượng thấp ở phía biển. Yếu tố mùa có ảnh hưởng đến hàm lượng As, ngoại trừ Cd. Kết quả nghiên cứu của đề tài cho thấy mức độ ô nhiễm của As, Cd cần được quan tâm nghiên cứu về nguồn gốc, tính di động trong môi trường đất nước và sự tích tụ kim loại này trong các loài thuỷ sinh vật.
