Abstract
Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh strategie obnovy a revitalizace židovské čtvrti v Třebíči. Přestože byla nedávno zařazena na prestižní seznam světového dědictví UNESCO a město učinilo již řadu pozitivních kroků k její obnově, má čtvrť stále určité rezervy. Problémem zůstává nezanedbatelné množství budov ve špatném technickém stavu a nevyužitá veřejná prostranství. Stále je zde patrné stigma sociálně vyloučené a nebezpečné čtvrti. Obzvláště zřejmé jsou tyto charakteristiky v areálu Subakovy továrny. Hlavním cílem mé práce je změna identity této čtvrti v místo atraktivní, bezpečné a jedinečné svou historií i atmosférou, ve čtvrť vhodnou k trvalému bydlení i krátké návštěvě. K dosažení tohoto cíle aplikuji metody taktického urbanismu formou zásahů do veřejného prostoru a následně představením dlouhodobějších vizí formou návrhu nových funkcí v území a dostavbou budov na místě stržených historických objektů. Důležitým aspektem řešení je zachování historické urbanistické struktury čtvrti a zároveň respekt k soudobým požadavkům kladeným na moderní funkce převážně obytné čtvrti.
