Abstract
The February report begins with the debates around intellectual property ownership in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on the lawsuit of Getty Images against Stability AI, the company behind Stable Diffusion, the popular AI art tool. The report also highlights the concerns expressed by US officials and tech companies toward the pending Canadian broadcasting legislation and its compatibility with provisions included in the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).
