"The last shipment of material the McGill University Library received from Robert R. Reid was prepared during the rather bleak period of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. With our various buildings, cataloguing and mail services practically closed, and most staff working from home, it was a challenging prospect. Despite several delays and tedious procedures, Reid kept his resolve to forge ahead. A first shipment was destined for the cataloguing services, located down the street, containing most notably his designs for two series of books produced in New York in the 1970s and 1980s: Country Inns of America (19 issues) and Bed & Breakfast Guides (18 issues).[...]"@eng
