Tunneintervention yhteys ammatilliseen toimijuuteen ja psykologiseen turvallisuuteen

Abstract
Tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin teknisen alan henkilöstön arvioita omasta ammatillisesta toimijuudestaan sekä psykologisesta turvallisuudesta. Lisäksi tutkittiin sitä, eroavatko arviot tunneinterventioon osallistuneilla ja ei-osallistuneilla vastaajilla. Tutkimus toteutettiin määrällisenä pitkittäistutkimuksena osana Jyväskylän yliopiston Tunto-hanketta. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostui rakennushankkeiden- ja kiinteistöjen ylläpitopalveluiden parissa toimivan organisaation henkilöstön kyselylomakevastauksista. Aineistoa analysoitiin Mann Whitneyn U-testiä ja Friedmannin testiä hyödyntäen. Tutkimuksessa havaittiin, että työntekijöiden kokemukset ammatillisesta toimijuudesta ja psykologisesta turvallisuudesta olivat melko korkealla tasolla koko seurantajakson ajan. Tulokset myös osoittivat, että tunneinterventio oli yhteydessä ammatillisen toimijuuden ja psykologisen turvallisuuden vahvistumiseen. Tutkimus tuotti uutta määrällistä tietoa ammatillisen toimijuuden ja psykologisen turvallisuuden pysyvyyden luonteesta ja niiden yhteydestä tunteisiin. Tutkimus vahvisti aiempia tuloksia siitä, että ammatillinen toimijuus ja psykologinen turvallisuus ovat ilmiötä, joiden vahvistaminen vaatii panostusta eri organisaatiotasoilta. Tuloksia voidaan hyödyntää esimerkiksi organisaatioissa, jotka käyvät läpi erilaisia muutosprosesseja.
