Abstract
Skripsi ini memilih objek material berupa cerpen yang berjudul “Qishshah \nFathiyah al-Mishriyah” dalam antologi cerpen Adab am Qillatu Adab karya Nawal \nSa’dawi dengan pendekatan sosiologi marxisme. \nMarxisme adalah sebuah pemikiran yang dicetuskan oleh Karl Marx. Pada \ncerpen ini menggambarkan tentang sebuah perjuangan kelas yang berusaha untuk \nmenghapus ketidakadilan di atas kekuasaan. \nMelalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra marxisme cerpen ini dapat disimpulkan \nbahwa konflik sosial politik yang terjadi disebabkan oleh faktor atau kondisi sosial itu \nsendiri. Harta menjadi kiblat dalam menentukan kelas sosial manakah dirinya. \nKebahagiaan pun juga ditentukan kelas sosial. Pada cerpen ini, kelas bawah selalu \ntertindas oleh kelas atas yang berbuat semena-mena bahkan menyiksanya. Seperti \nyang dialami tokoh utama Fathiya, ia dipaksa menikah dengan lelaki tua yang tidak ia \ncintai yang usianya jauh lebih tua darinya. Bahkan setelah menikah ia mendapatkan \nperlakuan kasar dari suaminya. \nKata kunci : Sosiologi Marxisme, Kelas Sosial.
