Key Points: \n→ As a global leader in democratic elections, \nCanada has an important role to play \non the international stage in showing \ncountries how to address growing \nthreats to democratic elections, such as \nhacking, disinformation campaigns and \nother types of information warfare. \n→ By developing an election template, Canada \ncan boost electoral confidence among its \nown voters while serving as a role model to \nother countries by exporting best practices \nfor conducting safe and secure elections. \n→ Favourable global perceptions of \nCanada’s role in foreign relations, plus \nCanada’s strong track record for election \nadministration and security and highly \ntransparent and secure elections, make \nit an ideal candidate for providing \nelection support to other countries.
