Abstract
The "Coalfax" was built at Haverton Hill-on-Tees, England in 1927 for the Coal Carriers Corporation, Ltd. of Montreal, Quebec.She was of 2,482 gross tons. Coal Carriers owned her until 1957 when she came under the ownership of the Hall Corporation of Canada, also located in Montreal. In 1967, she was towed to Santander, Spain.
