Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This thesis examines how both architecture and agriculture can enhance food accessibility
\nin Northeastern Ontario. Extensive research, case studies, and multiple site visits have uncovered both the needs of the communities and the solutions required to increase the
\nregion's agricultural capabilities. Architectural responses within this thesis revolve around
\nthree themes which include education, community, and technical design. With climate
\nchange becoming an increasing threat to the rural life, this thesis also presents architectural
\nand agricultural solutions that provide for a sustainable environment in an educational
\nmanner. This final design proposal explores the redevelopment of an abandoned school
\nand its accompanying site in the municipality of Charlton and Dack, ON. The adaptive-reuse
\nproject transforms the school into a community space that serves as a multipurpose hub
\ncentered around producing and promoting fresh and sustainable local food. It is through this
\narchitectural proposal that the thesis is able to respond to local food accessibility in the region
\nwhile promoting educational, communal, and technological values.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
