Abstract
The "City of Toledo" was built by Craig Ship Building Company of Toledo, Ohio in 1891. She sailed between Toledo and Put-in-Bay until about 1896. in 1893 the "City of Toledo" went to Chicago for passenger service during the World's Fair. The ship was lengthened and given a second stack over the winter of 1916-1917. She was reconfigured to serve as an auto ferry in 1932. The ship sailed until 1941 and was scrapped in 1948 at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
