Abstract
Après une revue rapide du parcours des diplômés internationaux en médecine (DIM) dans leur intégration au Québec, nous ferons ressortir les principaux défis rencontrés par les DIM et les enseignants lors du cheminement académique. En complément aux compétences habituelles que nous mobilisons lors de notre enseignement sur le plan pédagogique, nous évaluerons plus spécifiquement nos compétences interculturelles. Nous pourrons aussi mieux planifier comment nous pouvons les développer. Nous verrons concrètement comment mieux enseigner au quotidien en intégrant la dimension interculturelle. Dans le contexte des DIM mais aussi comment cela peut nous outiller dans le contexte de notre enseignement en général. L’atelier sera interactif avec exercices et discussions. \n \nObjectifs: \n- Discuter des défis vécus par les enseignants et les DIM \n- Évaluer sa sensibilité interculturelle comme enseignant \n- Planifier le développement de ses compétences interculturelles
