Abstract
Purpose: This study was planned to determine the activities and roles of waste pickers in İskitler. Materials and Method: 30 people who had been working as a waste picker for at least 1 month were included in the study. The waste pickers were contacted by the agency of Waste Pickers Association. The waste pickers were applied the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure and asked to describe their daily living activities in one day and were asked to grade each activity according to its importance, so to which activities waste pickers give importance was determined. Sociodemographic information was gathered with a semi-structured interview. Results: As a result, it was seen that waste pickers have to work for a long time in one day, so they have a difficulty in all areas of daily living activities. conclusion: The process of writing a thesis is still going on
