Abstract
Los sistemas RCS, “sistema de control de reacción” proveniente de sus siglas en inglés, son subsistemas que conforman al sistema de control de actitud general del vehículo, constan de un mecanismo de acción automático, y son utilizados en lanzadores, satélites y otros vehículos espaciales. Estos sistemas le ofrecen al vehículo la estabilidad en su trayectoria seleccionada o el reposicionamiento de esta. Esta acción de control puede realizarse de diferentes formas, en este trabajo se analiza la denominada CGPS (Cola Gas Propulsión System), la cual es un sistema que utiliza una inyección de gas frio para generar un empuje requerido para la acción de control. Un CGPS se encuentra compuesto por un tanque o acumulador de gas, válvulas ON/OFF, encargadas de comandar los disparos por las toberas que producen el empuje al liberar el gas. Las válvulas ON/OFF tienen la capacidad de actuar en períodos de tiempo muy reducidos permitiendo pasar la totalidad del caudal requerido (establecimiento del flujo de bloqueo). En este trabajo, se plantea el diseño, la fabricación y el ensayo de un prototipo de tobera de Laval para un sistema propulsor RCS. No se contempla el diseño y la fabricación de la válvula ON/OFF. Se siguen las pautas generales de diseño presentes en la bibliografía.
