Abstract
El presente estudio tiene por objeto determinar el efecto de los implantes de los cementos endodónticos Adseal, Sealapex y Endofill en el aspecto histológico del tejido subcutáneo en ratas albinas Novergius Wistar. Se trata de un ensayo laboratorial randomizado intergrupo. Con tal objeto se conformaran 3 grupos experimentales generados por los tres cementos. Cada uno de los cuales estuvo conformado por 9 ratas; de modo que en cada grupo, 3 especímenes fueron utilizados en cada uno de los 3 controles (2, 7 y 30 días), sin pretest. Una vez obtenida la muestra histológica, ésta fue fijada en formol al 10% e inmersa en alcohol y xilol. Luego las muestras fueron incluidas en bloques de parafina, los cuales fueron cortadas en micrótomo a 4 micras por corte. Posteriormente fueron teñidas con hemotoxilina y eosina, montaje con bálsamo de Canada, y finalmente lectura. Los resultados pueden concretarse en la prueba estadística X2, a pesar de las leves diferencias numéricas en favor del Adseal, no existen diferencias estadísticas significativas en la presencia, tipo e intensidad de la reacción inflamatoria, en la remisión del edema intersticial, en la ausencia de angiogénesis y tejido de granulación; y, en la presencia de fibrogénesis a los 30 días, utilizando los tres cementos endodónticos Consecuentemente se acepta la hipótesis nula de homogeneidad y se rechaza la hipótesis alterna de diferencia, con un nivel de significación de 0.05.
