Abstract
Dans ce volume, les œuvres de Marco Micone, Carole David, Antonio D’Alfonso, Monique Bosco, Régine Robin et Wajdi Mouawad sont étudiées en relation avec l’émergence de l’écriture migrante au Québec et du phénomène de la transculture. Dans cette perspective, l’adjectif ‘translinguistique’ qualifie la production de ces auteurs qui, au-delà de la différence des genres qu’ils pratiquent et de leurs histoires particulières, sont tous contraints d’écrire dans la perte d’une langue, la langue des origines, quelle que soit pour eux la consonance symbolique de celle-ci. L’absence de cet idiome suscite chez eux une interrogation identitaire sans cesse reprise qui influence leurs textes en déterminant leurs choix formels et esthétiques.
