En mars 2020, face à la pandémie de COVID-19, une fermeture globale des écoles a impacté 1,5 milliard d'apprenants. Diverses réponses ont été apportées à cette crise éducative, révélant des inégalités significatives. Dans les régions à faible connectivité comme certaines parties de l'Afrique, de l'Asie et de l'Amérique du Sud, l'accès restreint à Internet a limité l'enseignement en ligne, forçant l'usage de médias alternatifs tels que la télévision, la radio et le papier. En contraste, des pays comme le Canada et la France ont rapidement mis en place des plateformes d'apprentissage en ligne pour maintenir la continuité pédagogique. L'objectif principal de ce texte est de présenter certains résultats d'une étude sur l'impact de la COVID-19 sur les parents et les enseignants, tout en proposant une réflexion sur les changements induits par la pandémie dans l'usage du numérique en éducation. Avec cet objectif, nous cherchons à comprendre les difficultés rencontrées, les perceptions des modes d'enseignement et les facteurs qui pourraient contribuer à la réussite éducative dans un contexte pandémique, tout en envisageant de nouvelles orientations pour l’usage du numérique en éducation.
