Abstract
A través de les eleccions europees de juny de 2004 i el referèndum sobre el Tractat Constitucional de febrer de 2005 a Espanya s'ha estudiat si és factible la consecució d'una esfera pública europea o es tendeix a l'europeïtzació de les esferes públiques nacionals. Els instruments d'anàlisi utilitzats han estat els estudis d'opinió realitzats a la ciutadania espanyola i les campanyes electorals, per tal d'estudiar els temes introduïts en el debat públic i analitzar si la influència dels temes europeus és suficient per afectar els temes domèstics o encara aquests actuen com a filtre.
