Abstract
Estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal. Se organizaron 24 seminarios sobre Estilo de Vida Saludable, durante los cuales se enrolaron a 384 trabajadores, utilizando como instrumento de recolección de datos una versión de 25 preguntas del cuestionario FANTASTICO desarrollado en el Departamento de Medicina Familiar de la Universidad de Mc Master, Ontario, Canadá por el Dr. Wilson en 1984. De acuerdo al sexo 42.4% son hombres y el 41.7% mujeres, la edad de este grupo está entre 20 y 40 años, la mayoría son casados (55.5%) y egresados universitarios (69%). Los apartados del estilo de vida que influyen positivamente en la salud de estas personas son: 1- No consumir drogas (98.2%) 2- No fumar tabaco (84.6%) 3- Utilizar casco y cinturón de seguridad (84.1%) 4- Tomar cero o menos de 7 tragos por semana (83.3%). Los apartados del estilo de vida que influyen negativamente en la salud de estas personas son: 1- Consumo de alimentos insanos (90.4%) 2- No consumir ensaladas diario (90.1%) 3- No hacer ejercicio, al menos 3 veces por semana (75%) 4- Estar 10 librar o más sobre el peso ideal (68%). El estilo de vida de esta población se encuentra entre: bueno y adecuado, ninguno calificó para peligroso
