Account of previous Financial Stability Group meetingAny changes to the account of the previous meeting are to be sent to the secretary.2. Covid-19 Update -D/Finance D/Finance updated on Government and EU policy matters, including: The May Exchequer figures were in line with the forecasts set out at the last FSG meeting. Government talks are progressing but uncertainty remains.In the event of a Programme for Government being agreed, it will likely include a first '100 days' fiscal package, similar to the 2011 Jobs Initiative. The Department has been asked to make a submission on the fiscal position to the Oireachtas Covid-19 Committee and this is in preparation. At EU level, discussions continue on the Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF) and the EU Recovery proposal.As a small open economy Ireland will particularly benefit from a strong European economic recovery. The Minister undertook a virtual tour of the US, with successful engagements with the US Treasury and the IMF, among others. The Department and Governmental Brexit infrastructure is back up and running
