Finnlinesin ropax matkustaja-alusten laivalääkintä

Abstract
Opinnäytetyöni tavoitteena on selvittää laivalääkintää Finnlinesin Suomen lipun alla liikennöivillä ropax matkustaja-aluksilla. Kyseiset alukset operoivat kahdella eri reitillä kuljettaen matkustajia ja rahtia. Aluksia on tällä hetkellä liikenteessä yhteensä viisi. Kolme alusta liikennöi Suomen ja Saksan välillä ja kaksi alusta Suomen ja Ruotsin välillä kulkien Ahvenanmaan kautta. Aluksilla voi olla enimmillään yli 500 matkustajaa miehistön lisäksi. \n \nLääkintää varten aluksilla ei ole erikseen lääkäriä tai sairaanhoitajaa. Aluksen perämiehet hoitavat lääkintää vaativat tapaukset. Itse toimin m/s Finnmaid aluksella Suomen ja Saksan liikenteessä lääkinnästä vastaavana perämiehenä. Haen tutkimuksellani vastauksia mm. siihen kuinka usein lääkintätehtäviä suoritetaan, minkälaisia lähteitä käytetään ja minkä laatuisia yleisimmät lääkintää vaativat tapaukset ovat. Tutkimus on toteutettu kyselytutkimuksena.
