Frecuencia de neoplasias en tracto reproductor femenino de caninos y felinos, diagnosticadas histopatológicamente en el Laboratorio de Histología, Embriología y Patología Animal de la FMV – UNMSM. Casuística del año 2007-2015

Determina la frecuencia de neoplasias en el tracto reproductor femenino en caninos y felinos según los protocolos histopatológicos del Laboratorio de Histología, Embriología y Patología Animal de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Se revisaron los informes con diagnóstico histopatológico en el período abarcado entre Enero de 2007 a Diciembre de 2015, recolectando la información sobre raza, edad, localización anatómica y diagnóstico histopatológico. Los resultados evidencian que las neoplasias del tracto reproductor femenino frente al total de neoplasias tienen una frecuencia de 5.99+1.16% IC95% en caninos (96/1603) y 4.41+4.88% IC95% en felinos (3/68). Los animales más afectados son los de raza pura (56/93) y los que están entre los 8 – 12 años de edad en caninos (42/96); en felinos no hay distinción entre razas y el rango etario más afectado es de 13 años a más (2/3). Las razas bóxer y labrador presentan una mayor casuística frente el total de neoplasias en el tracto reproductor femenino en caninos con 9/56 neoplasias en ambos casos, representando un 16.07+9.62% IC95%. La localización anatómica más afectada es la vulva (37.50+9.68% IC95%) en caninos (36/96), y los ovarios (66.67+53.35% IC95%) en felinos (2/3). En caninos, la neoplasia más frecuente en ovarios es el tumor de células de la granulosa (10/21) (47.62+21.36% IC95%), en útero es el Leiomioma (3/6) (50.00+40.01% IC95%), y en vagina y vulva es el tumor venéreo transmisible con 39.39+16.67% IC95% (13/33) y 61.11+15.92% IC95% (22/36) respectivamente. En felinos, el 100% de neoplasias ováricas son disgerminomas y en útero el 100% es fibroadenoma polipoide; en vagina y vulva no se encuentran neoplasias.
