Tendo como objetivo verificar os melhores espacamentos e densidades de semeadura para a cultivar Rio Paranaiba sob irrigacao por aspersao, foi conduzido o presente trabalho na regiao sudeste do Estado de Goias. O experimento foi instalado em 31/10/86, na Fazenda Canada, municipio de Jussara, GO. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso em esquema fatorial, com quatro repeticoes. Foram empregados 16 tratamentos, combinando-se espacamentos de 20, 35, 50 e 65 cm entre fileiras, com densidades de semeadura de 50, 75, 100 e 125 sementes por metro linear. Os resultados mostraram maior producao de graos de arroz quando se utilizou espaçamento menor, ou seja, 20 cm entre fileiras, independentemente das densidades de semeadura utilizadas. Não houve influencia dos tratamentos para peso de 100 graos.
