L’objectiu d’aquest llibre és contribuir a la formació dels tutors de treballs de recerca de batxillerat que cursen el màster de Formació del Professorat de Secundària Obligatòria i Batxillerat, Formació Professional i Ensenyament d’Idiomes. El primer capítol analitza el context de la tutorització del treball de recerca a l’educació secundària i al batxillerat en l’àmbit de coneixement de la llengua i la literatura catalanes; el segon s’ocupa del procés de recerca i de les dificultats amb què es poden trobar els investigadors novells, i el tercer revisa els factors que intervenen en l’elaboració de l’informe de la investigació. Tanquen el volum dos annexos que contenen informació de gran utilitat: una llista de recursos i una que inclou títols de treballs de recerca, amb l’adreça web dels resums o els treballs sencers que són a internet. Adreçat sobretot als estudiants del màster de formació del professorat de la UB, Investigar al batxillerat tracta qüestions que també són extrapolables a altres àrees d’especialitat.
