Abstract
Il progetto viene sviluppato con il con il Centre d'études classiques = CEC affiliato al Département d'histoire della Faculté des arts et des sciences della UdeM, al pari del Centre d'études médiévales. \nIl Dipartimento di Storia di UdeM si distingue per una particolare attenzione a molti temi che sono comuni a quelli individuati per lo sviluppo strategico del DISCI. Si sottolineano in particolare i seguenti assi di ricerca: \n\tIdentità, Alterità, Differenze \n\tSocietà e culture nel mondo atlantico \n\tI poteri: dal locale all’internazionale \nche si sviluppano in modo diacronico con una buona congruenza con le aree di innovazione ad alta priorità indicate dal piano del DISCI. \nNello specifico: attenzione al superamento delle tradizionali periodizzazioni, agli approcci pluridisciplinari, all’analisi degli spazi di connessione tra macro-aree economiche e storico-culturali.
