Abstract
The work is a study of the ceramics belonging to the medieval landfill of Cártama (Málaga) documentated during the preventive\narchaeological excavations carried out in the center of the city between 2005 and 2007. The wells of the waste dump\ncontain sets of ceramics located in a closed context, allowing us to define four chronological moments between the second\nquarter of the thirteenth century and the first quarter of the fifteenth century. The study allowed us to identify 23 different\npottery types based on their functionality. Some of the conclusions obtained indicate a variation in form, trade relations, and\ntrade transfer with other surrounding areas of the Nasrid Kingdom.
