Abstract
En las sociedades modernas, la incorporación de las mujeres al\nmercado de trabajo genera una nueva necesidad de socialización de los\nservicios de atención a lo niños. Existen diversos modelos de respuesta a\nesta necesidad en las diferentes sociedades. Este artículo presenta el caso\nde la provincia de Quebec, en Canadá. Describe el proceso de emergencia\nde guarderías autogestionarias, creadas por grupos de usuarios, y las\ndiferentes etapas de la lucha de un movimiento social que han llevado a un\nreconocimiento por el Estado de estas iniciativas. Se describen brevemente\nla estructura y el funcionamiento de estas guarderías administradas por\nsus usuarios, con participación de su personal, y financiamiento público.\nEn una tercera parte, se presentan diversas perspectivas de análisis sobre\nlos CPE a partir de la revisión de algunos estudios quebequenses.
