Abstract
Les études portant sur l’insertion professionnelle des enseignants donnent des résultats n’éclairant pas la situation particulière de ceux œuvrant en adaptation scolaire au Québec. Nos objectifs sont de décrire et de comprendre leurs besoins de soutien, la nature de l’aide reçue et de celle souhaitée. Les données analysées sont issues d’une enquête par questionnaire et d’entrevues semi-dirigées. Les résultats mettent en évidence la pluralité des besoins de soutien dont certains sont inhérents à leurs contextes particuliers de travail. L’accessibilité des mesures de soutien est inégale et ce qui est offert ne répond pas toujours aux besoins spécifiques de ces enseignants.
