Abstract
En étudiant les parcours individuels (à travers les récits de vie qui ont été récoltés) d'une série d'anciens boursiers, les questions du lien entre le développement et les formations de 3e cycle sont abordées. La conclusion de cette contribution met en évidence l'intérêt individuel de telles formations et les contraintes structurelles qu'elles affrontent ; la balance entre ces avantages individuels et ces pressions structurelles amènera à souligner l'illusion d'un développement induit par la formation supérieure et l'impossibilité en termes d'équité de suspendre les mécanismes de bourses.
