Abstract
Dans un article publié dans le Bulletin de la SHC en automne dernier (« Données alarmantes sur les perspectives d’emploi des étudiants de maîtrise et de doctorat en histoire »), je révélais qu’il y avait une décroissance marquée sur 10 ans des docteurs en histoire en emploi deux ans après l’obtention de leur diplôme.\nDans les faits, au Québec, seulement 28,6 % des docteurs de la promotion de 2008 exerçaient un emploi à temps plein en lien avec leur formation, comparativement à 50 % pour ceux de 2003 et 58,8 % pour ceux de 1999, cela même si le nombre de docteurs\nen histoire est demeuré stable.
