-- \nABSTRACT : The industry 4.0 concept has changed the vision of the manufacturing industry. This paradigm affects several sectors: production, supply, maintenance, and energy. Our research project is a roadmap for effectively implementing the industry 4.0 concept to energy efficiency. In other words, we study the implementation of a structured approach by determining the necessary steps that lead to the practical implementation of the industry 4.0 concept in the energy field while demonstrating how this concept contributes to improving energy consumption in the industrial field. The furniture industry is a very particular example classified as the third transformation of wood. This industry has standard requirements similar to other industries, such as the obligation to respect the environment the workers are exposed to, called thermal comfort, and special requirements for raw material storage. According to the quality standards in force, these standards require that the moisture content must be between 8% and 12% for the wood-based raw material to be eligible for the various transformations. This requires permanent monitoring of this parameter, especially in regions with high air temperature and humidity fluctuations, as in the Bas-Saint-Laurent in Quebec. On the one hand, our knowledge of the concept of industry 4.0, as well as the behavior of the stored material, is minimal, so we proceeded by defining the concepts necessary throughout our study and especially the points of junction between the industry 4.0, energy efficiency, and the wood industry. On the other hand, we started an in-depth study on the thermo-hydric behavior of the two primary materials used in the third transformation of wood, melamine, and MDF. The study comprises four approaches: the mathematical formulation, the numerical simulation, the experimental study, and the modeling by the ANN. This study was carried out in collaboration with SEREX, a research center for the wood industry. Comparing the results between the experimental approach and the ANN and between the experimental approach and the simulation allowed us to validate the results. On the other hand, through a case study, we assess the implementation of Industry 4.0 in the energy field with a practical approach. The case study involves developing a solution called Solution 4.0 in the energy component dedicated to the wood industry. This solution was applied to the machine shop at SEREX, and the concepts studied in the theoretical part were used, as well as the results of the study of the thermo-hydric behavior of melamine and MDF. The 4.0 solution is manifested by the installation and adaptation of energy devices that are summarized in AR (Augmented Reality) imaging, smart sensors, actuators, and connection devices. Then, this installation will be managed by an application developed in Visual Basic for computer based on a structured algorithm. It considers thermal comfort, raw material conditions, and energy efficiency (energy management 4.0), stores the data in Google Cloud, and uses a visualization interface for the smartphone. The application of solution 4.0 has shown that Industry 4.0 tools can guarantee permanent monitoring of the environment to ensure the thermal comfort of workers, detect anomalies in the stored raw material, and increase the energy efficiency of the workshop by saving the consumed energy. A comparison of consumption between the mode without solution 4.0 and with solution 4.0 shows that the value of the saved energy for heating with propane gas is estimated at 128.05 kWh which is worth$14.85 over 3 hours in an autumn season. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en anglais : energy efficiency, industry 4.0, wood industry, melamine, MDF, wood drying, moisture content, thermal comfort.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.
