Los documentos sobre la Inquisición en el Archivo Histórico Provincial de Valladolid

Abstract
La desaparición de los archivos del Tribunal de Valladolid en el año 1809 ha supuesto una grave limitación a las investigaciones sobre la Inquisición en un área geográfica de gran extensión en la mitad norte del país. En este artículo se exponen los documentos que el Archivo Histórico Provincial de Valladolid puede aportar para paliar parcialmente dicha carencia, favoreciendo el conocimiento tanto de los inquisidores, sus oficiales y colaboradores, como de las actividades que desplegaron y las victimas y colectivos sociales sujetos a su vigilancia. Estos documentos se localizan en los protocolos notariales, la Administración Provincial de Hacienda, Hospital de la Resurrección, documentos municipales y Clero.
