Abstract
The hull of the "Montreal" was completed at Toronto in 1903, towed through the St. Lawrence River rapids, and the superstructure completed at Sorel, Que. A fire destroyed the upper works, which were rebuilt in 1905. After being built for the Richelieu & Ontario Nav. Co., she ran along Montreal and Quebec. The "Montreal" and "Quebec" were the largest steamers on the St. Lawrence River at that time. From Lake Ontario, the "Kingston" and "Toronto" went as far as Prescott; from here the "Rapids Queen" and "Rapids King", with their shallower hulls took up the trip over the rapids to Montreal. From Montreal, the "Montreal and "Quebec" made the trip to Quebec. Other vessels would complete the trip on the lower route of the St. Lawrence River. The "Montreal" was destroyed by fire while enroute from Montreal to Quebec on Nov. 19, 1926. The hull was towed down the St. Lawrence River to Levis, Que. to be broken up but sank before reaching its destination. Three deck hands were lost and the rest, 40 in all, reached safety.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame distilled prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
