Abstract
Deryk Houston is a Victoria artist\nwhose work is displayed internationally.\nHe has had many oneman\nshows and has had his work\nin group exhibitions in Canada and\nthe U.S. and, of particular interest,\nhas had his work featured in\na documentary by the National\nFilm Board of Canada (entitled From Baghdad to Peace Country). He has completed ground art projects in\nIraq, Canada, and Scotland in support of children’s rights. Houston’s vibrant\nacrylic paintings are in the collections of many corporations and individuals\nthroughout North America. He has also designed several sets for professional\ntheatre.
