Abstract
Il testo, nell'ambito della rubrica "Esiti concorsi", presenta un'iniziativa promossa in collaborazione tra vari enti di governo del territorio leccese volta alla rigenerazione di uno dei complessi appartenenti alla rete di ospedali sanatoriali per la cura della tubercolosi presenti quasi in ogni provincia del territorio italiano, realizzata nella prima metà degli anni Trenta del Novecento. L'iniziativa, veicolata attraverso un concorso di architettura, intende rispondere ai bisogni sociali emergenti nel territorio attraverso azioni finalizzate all’inclusione sociale, alla mitigazione dell’emergenza abitativa, all’aumento della residenzialità giovanile, alla promozione di nuove forme dell’abitare misto e solidale e alla creazione di nuovi legami tra spazi dell’abitare, servizi di prossimità alla scala urbana e spazi aperti verdi.
