Abstract
Le Projet interuniversitaire de formation continue pour le leadership dans les écoles, destiné aux étudiants de deuxième cycle universitaire en Haïti, est né de la collaboration entre un établissement postsecondaire de ce pays et une université canadienne. Certains participants du stage international et les responsables du programme constatent les retombées sur le terrain. Aux yeux des étudiants stagiaires, tous membres d’une équipe de directions d’établissement d’enseignement en Haïti, le stage dans les établissements scolaires du Manitoba vient renforcer leurs compétences et enrichir leurs connaissances en matière de leadership en éducation. Toutefois, le manque d’infrastructure, la capacité d’accueil limitée des établissements d’enseignement supérieur en Haïti et l’affaiblissement considérable de l’appareil d’État font en sorte que les défis à relever demeurent nombreux. Néanmoins, ce programme demeure prometteur pour outiller les cadres scolaires qui souhaitent contribuer à la transformation de leur système d’éducation.
