Abstract
En el presente artículo se expone la intervención realizada sobre los materiales pétreos y estucos presentes en los paramentos del espacio central de la Basílica de la Virgen de Valencia; desde su estado inicial de conservación, causas de alteración y tipos de daños, hasta los criterios de intervención establecidos y el proceso de restauración realizado. Se expone igualmente, su puesta en obra con las dificultades añadidas del breve plazo de ejecución, la necesaria coordinación con otros trabajos de restauración muy interconectados, como han sido: la ornamentación dorada o las esculturas polícromas y todo ello teniendo en cuenta que no se tenía que interrumpir el culto diario desde las 7h hasta las 21h.
